We recently had the privilege of working with the Football Association of Ireland on a leaflet campaign to spread awareness for their Season Tickets. We first engaged with the FAI by pitching them the idea of using direct marketing as a medium to spread awareness. So basically to sell more season tickets.
Their campaign was time sensitive. We would be reaching an audience outside of their typical buyers. After the success and the buzz from the Euro 2016 its a good time to be growing their following.
The interesting thing about this campaign was a micro site. Setup via ticketmaster which used a vanity URL. Google UTM tracking codes to track sales and other key data also got installed. So FAI could correlate with their offline marketing efforts with sales.
The campaign went great. We hope to work with the FAI in the near future to help growing their brand awareness and letting the public know about their promotions and club events.
